What do you think will happen if they find his diary?
will the proles make a revolution?> If yes, what will they do to help everyone?
Do you think the Party has the actual history books hidden?
Does the dark haired girl actually love him? Who is this girl? Is she a spy?
Would you have gone to the meeting if you were Winston?
What will happen in the countryside?
If the thought police found Winston he would be taken to the Ministry of Love. There I think they would probably force him to awnser questions about why he did it, who or what prompted him to do it, and if anybody else shares his opinions. I think that Winston wrote enough in the journal that the party would see it fit for him to be killed as well.
ReplyDeleteI find Julia to be very suspicious. She has not made a formal introduction of herself to Winston which makes her motive very unclear. She could possibly be setting Winston up to see if he will rebel against the party.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brooke. She could have bad motives for Winston and her relationship with him. She could be seeing his views on BigBrother or if he is apart of the Brotherhood or just even rebelling against Big Brother. They did not really introduce themselves or talk about their lives before they had sexual relations.
DeleteI completely agree because we have no idea what her actual motives are and she is very mysterious. We don't know whether or not Winston should trust her because she might just be setting him up.
DeleteIf they found his diary I think the thought police would come get him and they would take him to be tortured. They would torture him at the ministry f love and they would take the diary and never give it back to him. I also think they would mentally destroy him so he could never commit though crime again.
